Deep and abiding peace CAN be ours, but sometimes we have to remind ourselves, don’t we? It’s like looking at a winter landscape – we can see the dead leaves and hear them crunching underfoot. And yet, we know that in a few short months, little green seedlings will sprout and spring will return. And so, we can breathe deeply, peacefully, knowing there will always be a rebirth. This is how we remind ourselves of peace – look at the winter landscape and remember instead what lies beneath.
